I was taken
Not by men
But by nature
I took refuge in the abandoned wartime factories
In the project Interbellum I crawl into the skin of an alter-ego.
It is a story about a man who ran away from civilized life.
He was captured by nature, but also his own nature.
The man had to survive being alone in nature during a harsh winter, so he made tools. These tools he made were also artworks, they were designed with the utmost care as to show respect to the nature that was holding him.
These objects seek a balance between nature and technology
